CMS mBaaS
The CMS mBaaS data center in the cloud is a 'single instance' replication of the Apigee mBaaS
backend-as-a-service on Amazon AWS.
Apache Usergrid is the RESTful API point of access to the CMS mBaaS datastore. It is a Java
application that runs inside of Tomcat 7 application server. It is a true O-Auth 2 gateway to the CMS mBaaS datastore.
ElasticSearch is the Query Management and the Load Balaancer part of the CMS mBaaS datastore.
It provides the ability to do SQL type queries against the Cassandra NoSQL database and provides the
workload optimization for the CMS mBaaS backend-as-a-service.
Cassandra is the NoSQL database in the CMS mBaaS stack. It is a
self replicating database with 'no single point of failure' giving you an always on
data resource for the CMS mBaaS datastore.
